To view and print the documents on this page, you may need to download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader.
General Information
This is designed to assist undergraduate, transfer, and post-baccalaureate students interested in applying to Elementary, Secondary or Special Education programs. All applicants to Woodring College of Education teacher education programs must be formally admitted to and currently enrolled at Western Washington University or must apply to Western for the same quarter they apply to the Woodring College of Education.
The requirements listed below are minimum application criteria. Meeting the following requirements makes the applicant eligible for admission consideration, but does not guarantee admission to the Woodring College of Education. Students who meet these criteria are further evaluated to determine the most qualified applicants.
Information contained within all application material is accurate at the time of its preparation; however, such information may change, and it is the responsibility of the student to check on current validity at the time of application.
To best satisfy admission criteria, it is recommended that all applicants to Elementary and Special Education seek advisement from those departments prior to submitting an application. Applicants to Secondary/K-12 Education should seek advisement from their academic major department before submitting an application.
