Applying to Secondary Education

Undergraduate/Post Baccalaureate

This program is designed for those who wish to earn Washington Residency certification to teach middle and/or high school. Candidates are required to complete a major in a state-approved endorsable major, the secondary professional education course sequence, and a full semester internship.

Application Requirements

1. Completion of at least 75 graded credits.
2. Grade point average, overall or last 45 credits, of 2.75 or higher.
3. Satisfaction of WEST-B requirement.
4. English composition course with a grade of B or higher.
5. Adequate academic major preparation.
6. Two letters of recommendation.
