Dr. Stan Goto
Assistant Professor
Coordinator, Certificate in Community &
Technical College Teaching
Stan is currently an Assistant Professor
at Woodring College of Education. He received his Ph.D. from
the University of California, Berkeley, where he
studied postsecondary policy and literacy
education. After graduating, Stan accepted
a postdoctoral fellowship at Teachers College/
Columbia University, where he taught courses in
postsecondary instruction. Then, over the next
four years, he served as an assistant professor
in Curriculum & Instruction at the University of
Wisconsin, Madison.
