Human Services
Celebrating 35 Years of Engaged Excellence!
Western Washington University's Human Services major provides students with opportunities to become effective professionals, positioned to address the unique challenges of the 21st century.
Over a two year course of study students engage in a rich learning experience to acquire knowledge and skills in areas such as human development, case management and interventions, diversity and social justice dynamics, applied research, and program planning and evaluation. Blending a liberal arts education with opportunities to engage in professional practice, students explore individual, interpersonal, small group, organizational, community, and global systems.
Prospective students are encouraged to attend a regularly scheduled information session or arrange a time to meet with a faculty advisor at one of the program locations.
