Blackboard Tutorial

The majority of classes offered through the Graduate Program in Rehabilitation Counseling utilize an online computer courseware system called Blackboard.  Even for classes that are delivered in a face to face format, you may find that you are asked to download your handouts and submit your assignments using a Blackboard website set up specifically for your class.

Therefore, all students entering the program are required to complete a tutorial on Blackboard.  Just follow the instructions listed below.  You may wish to print a copy of  the  instructions so you can refer to them as you complete the tutorial.

  1. On the Internet, go to http://courses.wwu.edu/webapps/login

  2. To sign on as a guest and take the tutorial, click on Login for Guests, which is on the right side of the page.

  3. Your User Name is g_tutorguest02 and the password is western.  When you are finished entering this, click the Login button.  The password is case sensitive, so do not capitalize it.

  4. Under the area designated Course List - Courses in which you are enrolled,  click on the link to CCERVR New Blackboard Students.

  5. You should now be on the Announcements page for the tutorial.  Follow the directions to complete the class.

  6. If you have any difficulty with these directions, contact Alexa Burns at RC.Info@wwu.edu, or call 425-771-7429.
