Welcome!

The Master's Degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education at Western Washington University is designed to prepare professionals for employment or advancement as creative leaders fostering student development and learning through effective delivery of student affairs services and programs in higher education.

For the 11th consecutive year, Western Washington University is ranked second among top public, master's granting universities in the West, according to the 2008 U.S. News & World Report college rankings. The West stretches across Texas to the Pacific Ocean, which encompasses hundreds of colleges and universities.  Moreover, Western is the highest ranking public, master's-granting university in the Pacific Northwest.

The highly respected program is one of only a few in the western United States. The graduate program has established a strong tradition and reputation within the field with more than 30 years of graduating classes now working in student affairs across the country. Given the program commitment to fostering a community of learners and leaders, students are actively engaged in a collaborative learning environment.  Find out more!
