Master's Degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education at
Western Washington University is designed to prepare professionals for
employment or advancement as creative leaders fostering student development
and learning through effective delivery of student affairs services and
programs in higher education.
Western Washington University is the highest ranking public, master's-granting university in the Pacific Northwest, according to the 2010 U.S. News & World Report college rankings. Western is also ranked third among top public, master's granting universities in the West, a region stretching from Texas to the Pacific Ocean. This
highly respected program is one of only a few in the western United
States. The graduate program has established a strong tradition and
reputation within the field with more than 40 years of graduating classes now working in student
affairs across the country. Given the program commitment to fostering a
community of learners and leaders, students are actively engaged in a
