The Student
Affairs Administration Program has generated optional paid graduate
positions in student affairs and assistantships in academic affairs to
help students meet college expenses. These optional positions
sometimes can be combined with an internship but are often in an office
different from the internship. |

The WWU
Graduate School offers three graduate assistantships
in Woodring College of Education. These assistantships include a tuition
adjustment and a salary and are located in the programs of Educational
Administration, Student Affairs
Administration and Instructional Technology. Assistantship descriptions are
available in .pdf format
(download here).
Applications for graduate assistantships are handled by the WWU Graduate

- Tuition adjustments, for those students who are
awarded a graduate assistantship, are only in effect for the academic
quarters in which the assistantship occurs (Fall, Winter, and Spring).
Therefore, the Summer quarters are not covered by the tuition
adjustment.
- There is no out-of-state tuition during the Summer
quarters at Western; everyone is eligible to pay the in-state tuition
rate.
