The
opportunity to work with practicing professionals and to accomplish
learning objectives in a specific area of student affairs is a vital
component of the program. The nine-month, in-depth internship is offered in
two parts: a one-hour integration seminar one day a week, and 12-15 hours
a week in a student affairs office of the student's choice. This special
opportunity truly makes the Woodring SAA program unique. Through the
internship, students are encouraged to:

planning, and workshop instruction.

Faculty work closely with students during the summer quarter to select an
internship position that meets each person's interest and situation. |

at
Western
and
other
regional
community
colleges,
universities,
and
technical
colleges
upon the
approval
of the
program
director.
