Welcome to the Secondary Education Advising Web Page. This web site is designed to provide current and prospective Secondary Education students with information related to receiving a secondary education teaching certificate. If, after reviewing the information contained on this site, you have questions regarding the program, please feel free to contact Patricia Roberts, Secondary Education Program Manager. Prospective: Those who are considering entering this program should direct their questions to the Secondary Education Department Office (360) 650-3327; department staff can respond to inquiries or forward them to an appropriate faculty member.
Transfers: For those transferring from community colleges seeking information regarding secondary education, the designated faculty advisor is Dr. Bob Keiper.
Summer Advising: While the Secondary Education Department offers limited courses in the summer, both the department chair and program manager are available to advise students during summer quarter - usually through the ninth week of the quarter.
