Advising for Current Students

Those students currently enrolled in the Secondary Education program at Western Washington University are encouraged to review information on this web site.  The faculty realize that this is a complex program, requiring students to meet department, college, academic major, State, and other university requirements; therefore it may be helpful to visit some of these sites as you progress through the program.

Students are reminded to check frequently for messages posted on the Secondary Education ListServ.  The department uses this as the primary means of notifying students of changes in schedules, reminders of deadlines, and other important information.    Students subscribe to this ListServ the first quarter in the program and are asked to remain subscribed until completion of the program – including student teaching. Students must subscribe to this listserv - with their WWU e-mail address, and are held accountable for all information sent via the listserv.

You will find a link to FAQs (frequently asked questions) for current students.  We have found these questions to be the ones students most often ask faculty and staff.  If you do not find the answers or information you need on this web site, please feel free to contact your education advisor or a staff member for assistance.
