AT Grants to Families
Purpose:
The intended purpose of the AT Grants to Families is to support family members of individuals with disabilities in acquiring technology tools that may benefit their child at home.
Process:
Following participation in a collaborative AT consideration process for their child, a family may determine that the purchase of a certain tool would benefit their child at home. The family may request an AT grant for the purchase of a device or item up to a total amount of $200.
Apply for an AT Grant to Families:
The letter of application should include the following:
- Introduction and overview of the child
- Name and description of the device desired
- An explanation of how the tool would benefit the child
- A brief statement of financial need
- Your contact information including phone and email
Send the letter to Linda Schleef, E-ATRC coordinator, as you choose:
