VOICES!!!
It's time again for our quarterly VOICES panel discussion. This
month's topic is Women's Issues in Education. It will be held in
Wilson Library's Presentation Room on Wednesday, March 13th from 6:30
- 8:00 p.m. Panel members will include WWU and Fairhaven faculty, as
well as members of the Bellingham school district and community.
Everyone is welcome!
Resource Databases
There are now many ways to find the resources you're looking for in
the CEP. We have a public computer with access to 1) our resources, 2)
Wilson Library's resources, and 3) UW's resources. All searchable by
Subject, Title or Author! We are also keeping track of those resources
you're looking for and we don't have... and ordering them!

You will find lists of our resources, newsletters, and links to
additional multicultural education sites on WWW. Please write us and
share your ideas and suggestions! cep@wwu.edu Coming soon: pictures of

Movies/Discussion Groups
For the last few months, we have been facilitating one movie and
one discussion group every week. This 50-minute group gives students
an opportunity to discuss important issues as well as personal
experiences in multicultural education with their peers. These
specifically help Woodring students who are working on their
multicultural competency to fulfill their interactive requirements,
but everyone is welcome. Dates, times and topics are available in the
Center, MH250.
Community Outreach
One of our goals for the 1995-96 school year has been to help WCE
students connect with clubs and organizations on campus as well as in
the greater Bellingham community. To acheive this, we have put
together a table in the CEP which includes newsletters, pamphlets,
calendars and volunteer opportunities. We hope you will come in and
get an idea about what kinds of opportunities are around us.
Women's History Month
March is Women's History Month at the Center. Our CEP display
includes Women's History: A Curriculum Guide, Unequal Sisters: A
Multicultural Reader in U.S. Women's History, Women in Cross-Cultural
Transitions, and more.
