Beyond MLK: Forgotten Revolutionary Leaders

Monday January 8th:

Excerpts from revolutionary/radical

Literature: Read by faculty.  Be ready for Discussions!  Film about youth during Civil Rights Movement as well.

Wednesday January 10th: 6:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.-

  • Film: White Privilege (What's That?) by Erica Mercker and Becky Renfrow

  • Hip Hop as a means of Revolution by Fairhaven professor Teri McMurtry-Chubb

WWU students will be reading multicultural and social justice books to children in remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  Books and activities are targeted for children 3-7 years of age, but all children are welcome.
