Residency Certificate The first level certificate issued to  Washington State teachers	Intern Substitute Certificate A limited certificate available during the student teaching internship
Professional Certificate The second level certificate issued to Washington State teachers	Endorsements The subject areas in which Washington State teachers are prepared and authorized to teach
National Board Certificate National certificate for teachers with at least 3 years experience in public education	Highly Qualified Teacher State Assignment Policy and Federal No Child Left Behind HQT requirement
