Residency Certificate Extension
Residency Certificate ValidityThe first-issue Residency Certificate is valid until the teacher for the first time as a Residency teacher, completes two consecutive years of teaching experience and signs a third year contract with one Washington State public school district or state-approved private school. Application is then made for a Reissued Residency Certificate, valid for an additional five-year term.
