Holocaust Poetry

The Holocaust

My people are dying and crying
I wish for my people to live
But not in the ghetto.
I’m waiting for an American
To save us and have
Someplace to live and eat
Because all I get to eat
Is

So, I wish I could
I wish I could have died, but
I did and wished for
The best for my friends and family.

Down with Hitler
A new person like some great soldier
Or a general or a president
