The Holocaust

The Holocaust is like a prison where people and kids don’t live for very long.
There were Jews that survived Ghettos and other things.
The Jews had been slaves for a long, long time.
Run, run, run away from this terrible place where people do not live long.
There are Jews that still have to wear the star even when they get married.

“Help, help!” said someone.  “Come help me.”
“Here!  Here we come!
It’s all right now.  We are here.  We will get you to a doctor somehow.”

Please come to rescue us Jews.

From the author:  “I used repetition so other kids can read the words.”
