Office of Field Experiences

Welcome to the Office of Field Experiences!

Personnel in the Office of Field Experiences coordinate school-based part-time practica experiences and full-time student teaching internship placements for all teacher education candidates in the Woodring College of Education.

Field experiences are integrated throughout each teacher preparation program with most students involved in school-based experiences starting their first term in the college.  Part-time practica experiences generally occur in geographic locations near your program site while full-time student teaching internships may occur, depending on program requirements, across a broader geographic spectrum within the State of Washington, other U.S. states and overseas. We work closely with our school partners to ensure successful and rewarding placements for all of our candidates.
