Applying to Student Teach Overseas

 

 

How to Apply:

Multiple items must be submitted for an overseas placement.  Please follow the below guidelines and timelines.

1.  Review the Procedures for Overseas Student Teaching checklist.

2.  Submit an application* to OFE per dates and timelines noted below.

     *Note:  If going overseas, only submit the Placement Information Form and Professionalism Contract.

3.  Submit an Internship Petition requesting an overseas placement.

4.  OFE will contact you via email regarding your petition.

5.  If petition is approved, apply online to GST at:  www.globalst.org

6.  Submit all hard-copy GST application materials to OFE no later than the below dates.

7.  Submit an application to IPENote!  Applying to study abroad through IPE is required by WWU and there is an application fee of approximately $260-$285.  This requirement is based on WWU policy and may not be waived.
