Here you will find a wealth of valuable information designed to help guide you through the process of student teaching.  You must initiate the process by applying to student teach.  Use the links to the right to find applications and materials specific to your program.

 

When should I apply?

You must attend an informational meeting prior to submitting your application to student teach.  Use the chart below to determine when you should attend this meeting.

Summer 2010 (Overseas and out-of-state only)	November or December 2009	January 22, 2010
Fall 2010 (Quarter long, Semester Long and Year-long internships)	November or December 2009	January 22, 2010
Winter 2011 (Quarter long, Semester Long and Year-long internships)	March 2010	April 15, 2010
Spring 2011 (Quarter long and Year-long internships)	March 2010	April 15, 2010

*If due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday, your application is due the next business day.

 

Placement Locations

Depending upon your program requirements, the approved placement areas for Woodring/OFE are included on the Placement Map.

Please note that requests for a placement outside of these areas, such as overseas, out-of-state, other areas of Washington State, requires the submission of a Internship Petition.
