Relay for Life
SWEA is participating in Relay for Life at WWU again this year as team Super SWEA. The all night event is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and will take place May 16 -17. If you would like to donate, please visit our team website.
Spring Conference
SWEA will be holding a spring conference this year at Western Washington University. The conference will be on May 21 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Come enjoy guest speakers who will be discussing topics in education such as information on how to find teaching jobs in this economy and tips for teachers on management. Free pizza will also be provided.
Spring Picnic
Join SWEA for our end of the year spring picnic for food, games and awards. This social event will be held May 28th at 6:00pm at Lakewood Park. If you need a ride, please feel free to email Emily at fostere6@students.wwu.edu.
TLA Award
SWEA will be receiving an "academy award" from the Teaching-Learning Academy at their 6th annual Academy Awards Ceremony. This event will be held June 4th at 4:30pm in VU 565.
Adopt-A-School
This quarter SWEA has decided to adopt Squalicum High School and will be hosting a fundraising event for their school. More details to come! If you are interested in helping out, email Mia at klocm@students.wwu.edu.
