TeachWashington Noyce Scholarship Program
Are you a current mathematics, science, engineering or technology major who has considered teaching at the middle and high school level? Or, do you currently hold a degree in one of these fields and have thought about returning to become a certified teacher of math and science at the middle and high school level?
If yes, Western Washington University has summer internships and $10,000 scholarships available through a National Science Foundation grant.
Summer Internships
If you are a freshmen or sophmore possibly interested in entering teacher education in science and math and would like to explore working with secondary students you may be eligible for a $2400 summer internship working in local schools.
Scholarships
The TeachWashington Noyce Scholarship Program, funded by the National Science Foundation, is seeking talented individuals in science, mathematics, engineering or technology who are considering the teaching profession and desire to work in a high needs school.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has considered sharing their science and mathematics knowledge and talent in the classroom to make a profound difference in students’ lives. Graduate, Masters in Teaching, candidates are eligible for a single $10,000 scholarship. Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate candidates are eligible for two $10,000 awards.
