PART-TIME ESL INSTRUCTOR FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY AGRICULTURAL VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Will have proven experience working with migrant/seasonal farmworkers
* Curriculum Instructors will be responsible for administering relevant instruction and materials to all CAVI participants. Will assist with student academic skills development and process the Individual Education Development Plans.
* Teach a daily class using the EASY/History material guidelines.
* Administer ESL/History instruction to CAVI participants.
* Design and provide professional, appropriate and motivational lesson plans (level 1-12) consistent with accepted teaching methods and level of the class.
* Combine classroom teaching with computer lab instruction, apply ESL educational software.
* Develop class schedules and monitor daily attendance.
* Input all participant data into computerized data base and tracking systems.
* Assure goals and objectives are being met.
* Perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization and its targeted population.
 

Japan - Teacher(s) needed March 2008 - March 2009

     My name is Mayumi (former IEP student at WWU) and I am running a business in Japan, and it is an English school.  The school is located in Kudamatsu City, Yamaguchi prefecture.
     I have 150 students, and  3/4 of them are kids age from 0 to 13 (mostly
elementary school kids).  I am looking for a new teacher to teach kids English. They are lovely and very cute.  I need a teacher by the middle of March of 2008. I am looking for a teacher who loves kids and has a desire to teach.
     The salary starts from $2400 (accommodations and a car are available; tenant is responsible for rent, utilities, etc and car insurance, gas, etc.). 
Work is 40 hrs, 5 days a week with one week vacation in the summer and one week vacation in the winter. The position is a one to two year commitment.
