Designing and Assessing Education for Sustainability (EfS) Units of Study
The Cloud Institute works with many schools and multiple school districts all over the country “sustainablizing” the Pre-K -12 Curriculum. How do we embed the core content standards, performance indicators and enduring understandings of Education for Sustainability into the operating curriculum vertically and laterally pre-K-12? What curriculum units exist that can serve as exemplars? How are people assessing for EfS attributes? Are there student work samples we can analyze as evidence of EfS? We will address these questions in this 90 minute session on EfS Curriculum Design and Assessment using the Cloud Institute’s core EfS Content Standards and Performance Indicators.
