Who's the spotlight on now?
Deanna Lloyd
Deanna is a preservice teacher finishing her last quarter at WWU who has devoted time and effort researching methods to implement sustainability education in classrooms. Recently, she has taken her love for biking and sustainable transportation to the next level. About a year ago, she started competing in mountain bike short track and cross country races. During her first trip to USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships in Banner Elk, North Carolina on October 24-26, 2008, Deanna placed 13th and 12th, respectively, in the Women's DII division. Congratulations!
