Building School Districts into Sustainability Leaders
The Sustainable Oregon Schools Initiative (SOSI) has been defining what school district sustainability is, and creating resources to help it happen. SOSI’s scope encompasses education for sustainability in the classroom, as well as building the facility, systems, and services into a working model. SOSI will present their program and resources in an interactive workshop. They’ll share and examine the sustainability journeys of several leading Oregon school districts; how each got started, their challenges and how they are moving forward. Come learn, ask, and share.
