Smart by Nature: Schooling for Sustainability
The Center for Ecoliteracy has launched a nationwide initiative: Smart by Nature, which incorporates the Center's groundbreaking work on ecological literacy and systems thinking. Participants will get a preview of innovative and unexpected ways schools transform themselves to diverse models of sustainable living, from rural to urban and from public to private schools. Our goal is to inspire schools to view themselves as healthy, thriving, and sustainable ecosystems and to share practical strategies to reach that vision.
