Diversity in Teacher Education
Wooding College is committed to and values applicants with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities because we believe diversity contributes to knowledge, social justice, and academic quality. Because they are under-represented in the teaching profession, Woodring College encourages students of color to apply to all Teacher Education programs. Males are also underrepresented in the K-12 education system, especially in Elementary (K-8) and Special Education (P-12) programs and are, therefore, encouraged to apply to teacher education programs.
